About Flathead Valley Doulas
This group is made up of independent doulas who practice individually throughout Flathead Valley and beyond. We came together to support one another and to raise awareness about the benefits of doula care.
Each doula comes from a different background and often has different experiences and/or specialties. Some have additional qualifications beyond doula training, such as training/certification/license for midwifery care, yoga instruction, massage, placenta encapsulation and more. (These services may or may not be within the scope of practice of their doula care, so please be sure to inquire about them.) We encourage expecting families to interview doulas to find the one that is the right match for them.
Although we all have different backgrounds, we all share a great passion for serving women and their partners in pregnancy, birth and beyond. It is our hope that all women in the valley will have the support and empowerment needed to have the birth experience they desire.
